I wasn't raised to be silent or complacent, and neither were you. The people of the 4th Congressional district deserves real representation and not just a seat warmed by over 20 years of broken promises and scarce results. It's time for bold, independent leadership rooted in community, led by the community, and specifically for the community.
While career politicians talk, our community bleeds. These are not talking points, these are the lived realities of Milwaukeeans. I've ran many successful businesses in MIlwaukee, WI., have fought to sustain communities here, and have successfully raised a beautiful, loving and successful family here. I know what the numbers that are reflecting Wisconsin's progress (or the lack thereof) mean. It's disheartening, frightening, and I intend to change the outcomes and shift the narratives and lived experiences for those who face these harsh, everyday realities. Before we do that, we must first ask ourselves this:
